And my personal breaking news is that I will be returning to the Thai-Burma border in December, after being in the States for a few months to catch up with friends and family. I will return to Mae Sot for about 5 months, continuing to work as BBP’s director of counseling training at the Mae Tao Clinic. When I return, I will be focusing on developing community- and culturally- specific assessment tools and clinical outcome measures for the counseling center in addition to providing further counseling training.
