Nancy and Nori

I’m finally on my way back to the border.  After a 14+ hour flight from JFK, I just safely landed in Seoul.  Next stop, Bangkok.  I had my first non-vegetarian airplane food in over a decade.  Yes, that’s right, I have started eating meat again (and no, my first meat in 14 years was not a Korean Airways meal).  While the bibimbap was tasty, the chicken needed a little touch of Julia’s brilliance -  I think I will continue to order veggie meals in the future, even though the desserts usually pale in comparison.  I will arrive in Bangkok tonight and take a bus to Mae Sot tomorrow. I’ll just miss the King’s birthday, but will arrive in time for Dr. Cynthia’s.
